Macromo DNA Test for children?Updated a year ago

The DNA collection itself is a safe and completely painless process of filling a tube with saliva, so even a child can do it. For children we can offer the Macromo DNA Lifestyle test which assesses aptitude for sport, diet, sleep and physical traits. Genetic tests to assess disease risk can only be performed with the consent of the person being tested and we do not perform them on anyone under the age of 18. To view test results, you must download the Macromo app and create a unique account to which the saliva sample will be linked. Due to the focus on health and disease prevention, the app cannot be downloaded by anyone under the age of 18, so an account for the child must be created and managed in the parent's app.
